		Technical Department The Technical Department is designed to provide customer and technical sales support through its UKAS accredited chemical, microbiological and physical testing laboratories. The laboratories are equipped with a range of equipment to enable testing to European Standards which establish product conformity with Food Safety, Medical Device and Personal Protective Equipment regulations. Technical Department staff actively participate in the development of the European Standards by their committee work through the British Standards Institute (BSI) and the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN).
